KT’s BBQ Menu
Kirk and Tricia Jamison founded KT’s BBQ right here in Colorado. We are still family-owned and managed after nearly 30 years. We specialise in Memphis-style barbecue, which includes hickory-smoked pulled pork shoulder, peppery vinegary sauce, acidic coleslaw, and dry-rubbed pig ribs (but we also smoke brisket, chicken, and hot links, as well as handmade sides and desserts). We’re proud of our down-home cooking delivered with real southern hospitality, whether at one of our four locations or at a catered event!
We moved to Boulder in our Landcruiser with our two dogs in the fall of that year, hauling everything we owned in a 5’x8′ U-Haul trailer and setting up shop on the bank of the St. Vrain River near Lyons. We rented an old blue home at 63rd and Arapahoe for the restaurant, which debuted on Kirk’s 28th birthday, January 3rd, 1992
