Zabak’s Mediterranean Cafe Menu
Zabak’s Mediterranean Café is a combination of youthful urban Houston and old world dishes and flavours, built on tradition. Siblings Peter, Sandra, and Donald Zabak grew up in the restaurant business, working for their family’s Mama’s Po-Boy. George and Karimeh Zabak, of Palestinian heritage, owned and maintained the restaurant for for three decades, serving Mediterranean staples such as their renowned falafel sandwich. This second generation family-run Café carries on the tradition by serving authentic and savoury Middle Eastern meals that their Palestinian parents prepared at their family’s eatery and at home.
