Punjabi Dhaba Menu
The dhaba’s origins are unknown. During the twentieth century, they are reported to have sprung on both sides of the Grand Trunk Road and other roads, mostly to service truckers. The cuisine reflected the reality that the majority of the truckers were Punjabis. Surprisingly, many famous dhabas are not on the motorway. In the Indian subcontinent, a Dhaba is a roadside eatery. They’re located along roads, offer local food, and double as truck stops. They’re most typically located next to gas stations, and the majority of them are open 24 hours a day.
