Indigo Eurasian Cuisine Restaurant Menu
Indigo was a restaurant in Mumbai, India, created by Indian chef Rahul Akerkar in 1999 and located behind the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in a renovated colonial mansion. The restaurant became famous because it was one of the country’s first solo fine-dining establishments to provide high-quality European food outside of the luxury hotel business. It is recognised as influencing India’s post-liberalisation restaurant business. The restaurant was dubbed “one of the most prominent establishments in Indian restaurant history” by food writer Vir Sanghvi.
