Hemingway’s Menu

Ernest Hemingway was a Nobel Laureate and a well-known deep sea fisherman.
The restaurant in Cape May’s Grand Hotel was called E.M. Hemingway’s because of the latter attribute, not because the guy wrote such renowned books as “A Farewell to Arms,” “The Snows of Kilimanjaro,” and “The Old Man and the Sea.”
While living in tropical places like Key West and Cuba, Hemingway — the man, not the restaurant — was famed for his lengthy fishing expeditions. He was such an outstanding fisherman that in 1935, he won every event in the Key West-Havana-Bimini triangle, despite competing against some of the world’s greatest athletes.
