Carvel Menu
For its first 60 years, Carvel was established and operated by Tom Carvel. In 1929, Carvel borrowed from his wife Agnes 15 dollars (now 200 dollars) and used her to shop and run an ice cream van. Carvel’s vehicle had a flat tyre at Hartsdale, New York on Memorial Day’s weekend in 1934. Carvel’s most famous ice cream and ice cream cake with a characteristic coating of crunchies is their soft-serve ice cream. There are also a number of new ice cream bars and ice cream sandwiches. The motto is “Freshest Ice Cream in America.”
