Babasco Menu:
His first commercial pepper plant was McIlhenny in 1868. The word “Tabasco” has the title of the term “where the soil is moist,” or “where the coral or the oyster shell is,” which is thought to be of Mexican Indian descent. TABASCO® Sauce has started its voyage to ignite the culinary globe and acquired a patent in 1870. About 1867, McIlhenny began to experiment with the pepper sauce. He broke down his plants with the red peppers and combined them with salt naturally available on Avery Island. He aged in crocks and vessels and barrels for the month. Tabasco Sauce was born like that.
