Ames Plow Tavern Menu
In Dedham, Massachusetts, the Ames tavern was a pub. Established by Joshua Fisher as Fisher’s Tavern in 1649, it finally came under Nathaniel Ames’s control after a complex dispute based on the rules of the colonial heritage. It was subsequently acquired by Richard Woodward, who renamed it the Woodward Tavern at the time of the meeting of the Suffolk Resolutions conference.
